After Sunday’s comfortable 7-0 victory over the Indonesian Dream Team, Arsenal have now travelled 1800 miles to Hanoi, Vietnam to face a Vietnamese XI in the second match of their South East Asia tour.

No Premier League team have ever been to Vietnam, so Arsenal will be the first to play a Vietnamese outfit. The Vietnam national team are not exactly a powerhouse in world football, nor Asian football for that matter, boasting just 2 victories in their last 10 official FIFA games. So their world ranking of 145 will not surprise many of you, however they are ranked higher than Indonesia who are 168^th. Vietnam has had some recent success in the South East Asian version of the European Championships, the ASEAN Championship, winning the competition in 2008.
